What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the third largest branch of health care in the world.

Chiropractic is specialized in examining, treating and preventing functional errors in joints and the spine. These joint errors which cause muscle tension and pressure in the nervous system are in called joint locks, joint function errors, fasette locks or subluxations.

We pay special attention to interactions between joints, muscles and nerves.

We intend to remove every patient's pains and restore the function of the body using different kinds of manipulation- and softening techniques. Special treatment tables are crucial for the success of the treatment. Manipulating the joints is not painful when done correctly. Chiropractor has received a long and inclusive training to perform manipulation treatment. During the treatment trigger point treatment is also used. Pressing the trigger points can release tension in the muscles and relief pain and aching. When necessary, muscle stretches are also administered.

A trained chiropractor examines and treats with his hands. Multiple tools can be used in diagnosing a problem, for example reflex tester, blood pressure meter, stethoscope in listening of the heart and lungs and other basic tools used in medicine. Different kinds of chiropractic, orthopedic and neurologic tests are also used in diagnosing.

A chiropractor feels the joints and opens them using different kinds of movement and grips. The treatment table gives the treatments accuracy and the patient is not exhausted. Sometimes during treatments you can hear a loud pop, which is caused by pressure release from the joint. Sounds are not relevant in the treatment. When done correctly, the treatment is not painful and the patient will feel instant relief when the joints can move normally again. The joints don't get dislodged and corrected during normal life.

With a small movement we can fix locks in joints and cure functional problems. After this the joint works normally and all the muscles and nerves around it can work freely again.
